I would like
to personally welcome you to The Elijah Project; the Ministry Education
and Support Community that provides training and support resources
for today's clergy and religious leaders.
Having
served under a number of pastors through various ministry positions
and experienced the personal challenge of balancing ministry and
personal life, I have developed a great respect and understanding
for a pastor's need for effective support staffs and lay leadership.
Unfortunately, there are many clergy and religious leaders who endure
crises in their ministries and personal lives without adequate support
because they do not know where to go for ministry support and help.
Their support efforts are sometimes abandoned because their search
has either been unsuccessful or the support they've received has
not provided their desired results. With this in mind and heart,
The Elijah Project is God's blessing and my gift to you.
The Elijah
Project is the result of my trials and efforts to find sources of
support for my personal ministry and private life. Although I was
educated early in my ministry through seminary and doctorial studies,
I soon realized that there were still areas of unknown voids that
existed in my personal life and ministry. The vision that God gave
me for The Elijah Project was not only to find sources of support
that would fill my personal voids, but to "minister to ministers"
by creating an online community of support where religious leaders
and their families may come for support in their ministries and
personal lives.
Please consider
this "welcome" as your personal invitation to come in
and visit The Elijah Project. As a ministry, we provide clergy,
clergy spouses, and lay leaders with personalized, training opportunities
in the areas of leadership development and church business administration.
But as a community, we offer "houses of refuge"; a community
of ministries with the heart and desire to heal the wounds of hurting
clergy.
My prayer
is that The Elijah Project will be your online support community.
Please feel free to contact me at your convenience via mail or email
with any questions you may have regarding The Elijah Project. It
would be my honor and privilege to discuss with you ways that this
ministry may be of support to your life, ministry, and congregation.
Once again,
welcome and thank you for visiting our community.
Blessings and peace.
